Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. Using this website, or opting in to receive communications from us, means you agree to them.
No Attorney Client Relationship
Your use of this website, and the sending or receipt of information through it, does not create an attorney client relationship between you and JCM LAW. An attorney client relationship can only be established through a written engagement letter signed by both you and a representative of the firm.
1. Introduction
Welcome to the JCM LAW website. JCM LAW is the brand name of J. Caleb Moore Law, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. References to “JCM LAW,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean J. Caleb Moore Law, LLC. By accessing or using our website at jcalebmoorelaw.com, by submitting an intake or contact form, or by opting in to receive communications from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the site and do not opt in to receive communications from the firm.
2. No Legal Advice
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be construed as, legal advice on any subject matter. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any content included in this site without seeking the appropriate legal or other professional advice on the particular facts and circumstances at issue from an attorney licensed in your state.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
These additional terms apply to anyone who provides a mobile phone number to JCM LAW and who opts in to receive text messages from the firm.
Consent. By providing your mobile phone number to JCM LAW through our website, intake form, in person, or by any other means, and by opting in to receive text messages, you expressly consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from JCM LAW at the number you provided. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of becoming a client of the firm or of receiving any goods or services from us.
Types of Messages. Text messages from JCM LAW may include responses to inquiries you have submitted, intake and consultation scheduling and follow up communications, appointment and court date reminders, case status updates and case related communications for current clients, document signature requests and reminders, invoice and payment reminders, and informational or promotional messages about our legal services.
Message Frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with us and the status of your matter.
Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. JCM LAW does not charge a separate fee for sending or receiving text messages, but standard messaging and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to each message sent or received. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging plan.
To Stop Receiving Messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from JCM LAW. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages from the program. To rejoin at a later time, sign up again through the same method you used originally, or contact us directly.
For Help. Reply HELP to any text message you receive from JCM LAW, or contact us at (770) 600-2977 or jesse@jcalebmoorelaw.com.
Carriers. Supported carriers include all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages depends on the effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of our control.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years of age and the account holder of, or have authorization from the account holder of, the mobile phone number you provide. By opting in, you represent that these conditions are met.
Changes to Your Mobile Number. If you change or deactivate the mobile phone number you provided to us, you agree to promptly update your contact information with JCM LAW so that messages are not sent to a person who later acquires that number.
No Sharing of Opt In Data. JCM LAW does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information collected in connection with the SMS program is used solely to operate the program and to provide the legal services you have requested. Your information is otherwise handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality of Text Communications. Standard SMS and MMS messages are not encrypted end to end and may be stored or accessed by your wireless carrier and other third parties outside our control. While we treat client communications consistent with the rules of professional conduct that apply to Georgia attorneys, you should not transmit highly sensitive information by text message. For confidential communications, please contact us by phone or by another secure method.
4. Confidentiality
Please do not send any confidential information to JCM LAW until such time as an attorney client relationship has been established. Any information sent to the firm by Internet email or through this website is not secure and is sent on a non confidential basis. Communication with JCM LAW through this website does not constitute or create an attorney client relationship between the firm and any recipient.
